This method is Bilsta57's method of activating 1.1.1 with just a lockdown file
NOTE: YOU CAN USE THIS METHOD ON MAC AND WINDOWS WITH WINDOWS THROUGH WINSCP SO LONG AS YOU HAVE JAILBROKEN 1.1.1..... BUT IF YOU DONT WANT TO DOWNGRADE AND YOU ARE STUCK AT THE PLEASE CONNECT TO ITUNES PAGE AND WANT TO JAILBREAK IT FOLLOW THIS http://modmyiphone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11322//
Step 1.
Download IPHUC [1] & cyberduck [2] and double-click cyberduck to mount the .dmg on your desktop.
Step 2.
Double-click the app to launch it.
Step 3.
Open connection in cyberduck
now select for protocol
then enter your iphones ip adress... and username and password which is:
username:root
password:alpine
Step 4.
ok now that you are at the root directory go to
now that youre in you should see these folders
then open usr
then open libexec
Step 5.
get that lockdown file that you just downloaded above
Step 6.
now drag Lockdown to that Lockdown folder and overwrite the lockdown there
Congratulations! Your iPhone is activated!
NOTES: Q:Why would i make this guide with all these automated activators out there:
A:Because your iphone doesnt need the youtube patch because its files
are still compiled around your IMEI and ICCID and SERIAL and DEVICE ID
ALL OF THOSE NUMBERS WILL STAY CORRECT AND THEY WILL CORRESPOND TO YOU IPHONES NUMBERS LEGALLY AND SAFELY
